QUALIFICATION

As a lifelong traditional artist, I entered into a digital toolset 24 years ago, and have found expression in many of its facets; having worked in print design, multimedia, web, and for the past 15 years, 3d and 2d motion design and animation. I distinguish myself as both a passionate and unique creative, as well as a focused professional with a strong sense of workflow organization and optimization, project management and supervision skills, and a tenacious work ethic.

Sept 2009 - Nov 2014 - Senior Creative - Digital Kitchen

The roll of Senior Creative had two-pronged responsibilities. As a creative position, I had art director duties, animation supervisor duties, as well as duties from design through animation of on-air promos, commercials, TV show package graphics, interactive and experiential installations, and instructional/industrial materials. Within the scope of my managerial responsibilities I supervised projects, insuring no member of large teams was missing their marks and deadlines were met all within budget; I mentored junior talent; built broadcast asset toolkits; designed and oversaw efficient workflow systems for our graphics pipeline; and designed and maintained an easy to follow asset management system.

Nov 2005 - Aug 2009 • Motion Graphic Artist / Designer - Skip Film

As part of of small team of designers for this noted Los Angeles AV shop, and subsidiary of Ridley Scott and Associates, I designed and animated for film main title, trailers and TV spots, TV show packages including main title and internal graphics, TV promo, TV commercials, film graphics, corporate branding, and motion picture sizzle reels. Notable projects include: Surrogates (film graphics, trailer), The Taking of Pelham 1, 2, 3 (main title, trailer), G-Force (trailers, TV spots), Watchmen (TV spots), Hannah Montana:The Movie (trailer, internet sizzle, TV spots), The Day the Earth Stood Still (trailer, TV spots), Terminator Salvation (teaser), Dodge RAM Challenge (internet webisodes, TV commercials), Body of Lies (film graphics, trailer, TV spots), High School Musical 3 (TV spots), Eagle Eye (trailer, TV spots), I Am Legend (trailer, TV spots)

Jan 2005 - Nov 2005 • Motion Graphic Artist / Designer - Kaleidoscope Creative Group

Through tight coordination with Kaleidoscope producers, I designed and animated for the company's multiple divisions including print - with logo design for theatrical and home entertainment, AV - with motion graphics for commercial and corporate reels, and trailer - with motion graphics for movie trailers finishing in both broadcast and film. Clients included CBS, Fox, IDG Entertainment, Honda, Ford, William Morris Agency, and Dailey & Associates

Jan 2000 - Dec 2004 • Motion Graphic Artist / Designer - World Famous Post

As a partner in this Los Angeles based boutique graphics house, I designed and animated motion graphics projects primarily for reality television show packages. Clients included Sony, Disney, Fox, MTV, VH1, ESPN, National Lampoon, and USA Network

1991 - 2000 • Designer / Art Director - Sir Real Productions

As the sole proprietor of a Dallas based design firm working in print, multimedia, and web, I designed for clients such as EDS, Platinum Technologies, Lotus, Kinko's Inc., and Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.
